Our Department is located in an unremarkable and unexciting part of the city.
We strongly recommend you to find an accommodation either downtown (centro storico, see more below), or in a residential neighborhood.
Reaching the Department with public transport is possible, but not an experience you want to start the day with if you want to have energies left for the remaining of the day (see more here on how to reach the Department of Physics), hence we typically recommend our speakers to coordinate with their scientific hosts and find an accomodation in their neighborhood, or in the residential neighborhood “Vomero”, where one of us can comfortably offer you a drive at the University on the day of the Colloquium.
